Fourpure Brewing Co – Session IPA
Abv: 4.2% IBU: 40 OG: 10.5
The Beer: Really good hoppy aromas infused with fresh grass, some peppery hints; slightly opaque light brown, not much head; plenty of hops in the taste with a slight hint of lemon, and peppery tones; medium bodied, fresh palate, plenty of bitterness but not too much.
Thoughts: I like this as a version of IPA in that it doesn’t blow up the mouth with rasping bitterness, is quite easy to drink, and certainly one for summer drinking. Like the fact they quote the OG on the tin, which bring me to the tin. Not much of an issue here since none of the flavours seem to have been punched out of it during the tinning process. One to test on tap if I get the chance, but until then, quite pleasing.
