Robinsons – Old Tom with Chocolate
6% alc vol
The Beer: Milk chocolate aroma, some toffee/caramel; clear, deep copper in colour, tan frothy head that quickly goes; robust bitterness with faint chocolate flavours, bitterness is long lasting; smooth, medium bodied, with distinct alcohol warming.
Thoughts: Aroma is unmistakably milk chocolate, but those flavours are lost in the taste which is where the alcohol seems to take over more than anything else. Pleasant enough.
