Best pubs in UK

The Times is running an article on the best pubs in UK based on category and can be found in a book called “Alaistair Sawday’s Special Places: Pubs & Inns of England & Wales”. [The Times]

Can’t say I have ever been to any of them, my favourite is the “Red Lion” in Blewbury, Oxfordshire, only by merit of the fact I lived in the village for years and spent far too much time in the pub. The landlord was great, he banned chips from the menu and people didn’t like it. I thought he was a great bloke and that the locals lacked imagination. [The Red Lion – Blewbury]
