Whitstable Brewery - Oyster Stout
Oyster Stout is a new style for me, and if the style description is anything to go by this style is supposed to be made with Oysters, or can simply mean that the beer is good with Oysters. Whitstable Brewery is a new brewery for me, but is fairly close to where I am living now, quite a few of the local stores stock some of their beers. Either way, this is a new style, new brewery and I haven’t had a stout in a while.

Some roasted coffee, dark cocoa combine to give off a good aroma. It is rich, thick black in colour with a tan frothy head. Really fresh, medium-full bodied, gorgeous bitter roasted taste; somewhat smooth with a long lasting bitterness.
Clean taste that brings out the roastings, and really enjoyable. I would go as far as to say this could be compared in flavour to an Irish Stout.
